Dr Ulric Williams
New Zealand's Greatest Doctor
You don’t have to do anything to get better, all you need to do is stop doing what’s wrong and making you sick.
The troubles we have in our lives are not new. Nor are the very simple ways we go about removing them.
Dr Ulric Williams was a Whanganui surgeon who became a naturopath. He practised between 1918 and 1968. During the 1940’s he opened four health homes in the Whanganui area and healed chronically ill cancer, arthritis, TB and heart disease patients who came to him from all over New Zealand. He sent virtually every one of them home either completely healed or greatly improved. He used no drugs or surgery. His healing method was to discover what they were doing wrong (eating, thinking or lifestyle habits) and then show them how to correct it. Results were extraordinary – almost everyone went home healed, even terminally ill cancer patients. In one of his letters he writes: this is the forty-third case of cancer that has responded to our treatment. From the back cover of New Zealand’s Greatest Doctor Ulric Williams by Brenda Sampson.
